Connecting Kora to the Cloud

Kora establishes a secure outbound connection to Kora's cloud services with end-to-end encryption. No port forwarding required. Verify connection status in the Kora app System Status menu.

How Cloud Connection Works

• Kora establishes a secure outbound connection to Kora’s cloud services.
• No port forwarding or router configuration is required.
• Data is encrypted end-to-end.

Confirming Cloud Status

1. Open the Kora app.
2. Navigate to System Status.
3. Verify the system shows Connected.

When connected, you will have:

• Real-time energy monitoring
• Remote circuit control
• Automatic software updates
• Outage notifications

If Cloud Connection Fails

• Confirm internet connectivity at the panel.
• Check that your network does not block outbound MQTT or HTTPS traffic.
• Restart the Smart Panel if needed.
